My freshman year at Arkansas Tech I had always wanted to take Printmaking. I would see upperclassmen's work and was just really amazed! Now, during my junior year I have the opportunity to take the class and I absolutely love it! It is totally different from anything that I've done before as far as the medium goes. There is a lot of work that goes into printmaking, and it is all worth it!! I look forward to learning more in order to improve my skills. I personally am interested in Black Art as well as artwork that empowers Black Women. Below is my first project in my Introduction to Printmaking course.
